BEST Annual Conference

The BEST Annual Conference, organized by the COMET competence center BEST – Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies GmbH, brings together researchers, project partners, and stakeholders from science and industry. It provides an overview of ongoing projects in three main areas: Biorefineries (using thermochemical, biochemical, and syngas technologies to convert biomass, residues, and waste into fuels, chemicals, and materials); Digital Methods and Solutions (for technology development and optimization of energy and resource systems); and Sustainable Supply and Value Cycles (covering recycling, market aspects, and resource recovery). The program includes technical presentations, industry contributions, poster exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Editions are held annually, typically in September, in Graz.
