The center maintains 13 specialized cancer centers and five additional specialized units, delivering evidence-based therapies with an emphasis on precision and patient convenience. It pioneered robotic surgery in Korea in 2005 and has achieved over 20,000 robotic procedures worldwide, alongside being the first in the country to introduce robotic intensity-modulated radiation therapy in Asia. In recent years, it has led in heavy ion therapy, becoming Korea's first provider in 2023 and expanding indications to include prostate, pancreatic, liver, lung, head and neck cancers, sarcomas, and recurrent rectal cancer while operating multiple rotating and fixed systems simultaneously—a global first.

Yonsei Cancer Center actively participates in clinical research and international trials, contributing investigators and data to studies on novel oncology therapies, including antibody-drug conjugates for small cell lung cancer. It consistently reports survival rates above national averages for challenging cancers such as lung (43.7% vs. 34.7%), liver, and pancreatic cancer. As an integral component of a major university health system, the center leverages extensive networks for translational research, drug development, and global collaborations, positioning it as a leading facility in Asia for innovative cancer management.

Also known as Yonsei Cancer Hospital, 연세암센터, and Severance Yonsei Cancer Center.
