Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) is a refining company based in Yanbu Industrial City on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. It is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec). The company operates a large, full-conversion refinery designed to process Arabian crude and supply transportation fuels and other refined products to domestic and international markets.
YASREF’s operations focus on the production of ultra-low sulfur diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), sulfur, and petroleum coke. Its location and export infrastructure support reliable supply to the Red Sea and global trade routes, while also providing feedstocks such as naphtha for downstream petrochemical value chains in the region.
