Woosh

Woosh BV is a European company focused on the collection and mechanical separation of used disposable diapers to recover polyolefin plastics. In collaboration with Borouge International and BlueAlp, it has demonstrated an industrial-scale recycling loop in which collected diaper waste is processed into pyrolysis oil suitable for producing new polymers, including for hygiene applications. The company operates a dedicated collection network serving over 30,000 children daily and runs a recycling plant, launched in 2025, with capacity in the thousands of tonnes per year. Its activities target the recovery of nonwovens and films from single-use hygiene products that are otherwise typically landfilled or incinerated.
