WindEurope (legal name: WINDEUROPE, also known as WindEurope asbl/vzw) is a Brussels-based non-profit association founded in 1982, formerly known as the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA).
It serves as the voice of the wind energy industry in Europe, representing over 600 members across more than 50 countries, including turbine manufacturers, developers, operators, component suppliers, research institutes, national associations, and service providers spanning the entire wind value chain.
WindEurope advocates for supportive policies, organizes industry events such as the annual WindEurope Annual Event and WindEnergy Hamburg, publishes market intelligence reports and statistics, and promotes the expansion of onshore and offshore wind power to drive Europe's energy transition.
