Vueling Airlines, S.A. (Vueling) is a Spanish low-cost carrier and subsidiary of International Airlines Group (IAG), headquartered in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona). Founded in 2004, it operates short- and medium-haul flights across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The airline’s main hub is Barcelona–El Prat Airport, with additional bases in cities such as Madrid and Paris.
For the energy and chemicals value chain, Vueling is a significant purchaser of aviation turbine fuel (Jet A/A‑1) and is involved in efforts to improve fuel efficiency and adopt sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in line with European regulations. Its fleet is primarily composed of Airbus A320-family aircraft, including newer, more fuel-efficient variants, shaping demand for conventional jet fuel and drop-in renewable fuels, as well as associated supply, storage, and airport fueling infrastructure.
