Verwater Group B.V. is a specialized contractor in the construction and maintenance of storage tanks and industrial installations for the petrochemical, energy, and chemical storage sectors.

Established in 1922 as a family business in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the company has evolved into a multidisciplinary provider offering services including tank construction using jacking methods, tank maintenance, civil works, piping and mechanical installations, protective coatings, engineering, electrical and instrumentation, turnarounds, and panel building. It supports projects from design through to completion and delivers complete maintenance trajectories for tank terminals and refineries.

Headquartered in Rotterdam with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore, Estonia, and Oman, Verwater maintains a strong presence in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region, Europe's largest petrochemical hub. The company employs approximately 1,200 people and generates annual turnover of around €200 million, serving major international clients in the energy and storage industries.

Originally a family-owned enterprise, Verwater has undergone several ownership changes and is currently privately held following its acquisition in November 2024 by Dutch investment firms Standard Investment and First Dutch. It positions itself as a key player capable of executing large-scale, complex projects in confined industrial environments while adhering to international standards such as API and ASME.
