About Veride

Veride is a Belgian engineering company based in Geel that specializes in the design, construction, and operation of industrial water treatment, reuse, and sludge management systems.

The company develops and deploys its proprietary HydRO Technology, which combines advanced membrane filtration with high-performance active sludge processes to convert wastewater into ultra-pure, reusable process water. This compact, automated, plug-and-play system achieves more than 80 percent water reuse, removes contaminants including microplastics, PFAS, heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses, and supports applications in production, boilers, and washing lines while minimizing energy loss.

Veride serves a range of industries such as laundries, food and beverages, breweries, chemicals, and cosmetics, with 43 installations across 10 countries purifying over 2.2 million cubic meters of water annually and contributing to significant CO2 reductions.

Founded in 2013, the company employs approximately 19 full-time equivalents and maintains a focus on sustainable, scalable solutions tailored to client needs. Following Christeyns' acquisition of a majority stake, Veride continues to operate with retained autonomy as part of the broader group structure.

In the water treatment sector, Veride positions itself as a specialist provider of circular economy technologies for industrial water management, emphasizing efficiency, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability.
