Established in 2014, Valorie was created to provide services in environmental management, with a focus on optimizing the handling of recyclable waste. It has been closely associated with the German Reclay Group since its inception. In November 2026, GreenDot, the majority-owned European recycling platform of Agilyx ASA, acquired a 50% stake in Valorie SAS. This transaction established joint ownership and control of the company alongside Reclay International.

Léko functions as one of the primary competitors to Citeo in France's EPR landscape for packaging. It collects fees from producers to finance the collection, sorting, and recycling of packaging waste by municipalities. The organization has shown strong growth, achieving revenues of around EUR 42 million in 2025 with significant annual increases.

Through its structure, Valorie SAS supports France's transition to a circular economy by facilitating compliance with EPR regulations and contributing to improved recycling rates. Its activities are primarily focused in France but benefit from the international networks of its shareholders, including synergies with GreenDot's operations across Europe in mechanical and advanced recycling.
