JSC Ukrnafta (Акціонерне товариство "Укрнафта") is Ukraine's largest oil and natural gas producer. Headquartered in Kyiv, the company operates through two main business units: Ukrnafta East and Ukrnafta West. It holds 86 hydrocarbon production licenses and 3 exploration licenses, managing 1,807 oil wells and 164 gas wells as of September 2025.
Activities span exploration, production drilling, oilfield services, and gas processing across regions including Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Dnipro, and Kharkiv. Ukrnafta also runs the country's largest fuel station network, UKRNAFTA, with over 660 stations nationwide, supplying imported high-quality fuel.
Naftogaz Ukrainy holds 50% +1 share; remaining shares, previously private, were transferred to state management under the Ministry of Defence in 2022. The company employs over 22,000 people and maintains certifications including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and DSTU EN ISO 29001.
