Telesur, officially N.V. Telesur, is the state-owned telecommunications company of Suriname. It provides fixed-line telephony, mobile services, broadband internet and data connectivity across the country.
The company is involved in international infrastructure projects, including a partnership with EllaLink to develop the EllaLink Caribbean Gateway subsea cable. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity between the Caribbean, Europe, the United States and Brazil, improving capacity, redundancy and resilience for regional data transport.
