Telespazio

Telespazio S.p.A. is an Italian spaceflight services company headquartered in Rome, founded in 1961. It operates as a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%), ranking among the world's leading providers of satellite solutions and services.

The company delivers a wide range of space-related services, including the design and development of space systems, management of launch and in-orbit satellite control, Earth observation, integrated satellite communications, navigation, localization, and scientific programs. Telespazio manages key space centers such as Fucino, Lario, and Scanzano in Italy, along with international teleports.

With approximately 3,500 employees across 15 countries and 13 companies worldwide, it reported around €850 million in revenues for 2025. Telespazio supports institutions, enterprises, and communities in achieving sustainability goals through innovative space technologies.
