Steag Iqony Group is a Germany-based energy and infrastructure company combining STEAG’s conventional generation heritage with Iqony’s energy solutions and decarbonization activities. Headquartered in Essen, the group supplies industrial, municipal, and utility customers in Germany and selected European markets.

The sale fulfills EU conditions for Uniper's stabilization package. Uniper Wärme serves 14,400 customers with a 750 km district heating network using CHP and eco-friendly heat sources.
