SINOPEC Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. (SRIPT), legally known as 中石化（上海）石油化工研究院有限公司, is a leading research and development subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec). With bases in Shanghai's Pudong New Area and Chemical Industry Zone, plus branches in five Sinopec subsidiaries, SRIPT has earned over 350 awards, including multiple National Science and Technology Progress prizes.
