About Southern Gas Corridor

Southern Gas Corridor CJSC (Azerbaijani: Cənub Qaz Dəhlizi Qapalı Səhmdar Cəmiyyəti) is a state-owned holding company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, established in 2014 to finance, develop, and manage the Southern Gas Corridor—an integrated infrastructure system transporting natural gas from the Caspian Sea to European markets.

The company consolidates the state’s interests in core assets along the route, including stakes in the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field and the associated export pipelines: the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP), the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), and the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP). Its mandate covers capital investment, governance of project companies, and long-term gas transportation arrangements in coordination with SOCAR and international partners. Headquartered in Baku, Southern Gas Corridor CJSC plays a central role in Azerbaijan’s upstream and midstream gas value chain and in cross-border energy supply to Southeast and Southern Europe.
