Solinatra Europe B.V.

About Solinatra

Solinatra Europe B.V., based in The Hague, Netherlands, is the European division of Rosiro Group B.V. The company develops and compounds 100% natural, plant-based biomaterials as biodegradable and compostable alternatives to fossil-based single-use plastics.

Its proprietary Solinatra® material, derived from plant waste and agricultural byproducts, produces resins compatible with standard manufacturing processes such as injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming. Applications include coffee capsules, cutlery, straws, food trays, and packaging. The materials are certified compostable (EN 13432, ISO 20200) by TÜV Austria, fully biodegradable without microplastics, and leave no environmental trace.

With an R&D center in the UK, Solinatra focuses on accelerating the transition to circular economy solutions. Recent partnerships, such as with Paques Biomaterials, aim to integrate PHBV biopolymers from organic waste for enhanced sustainable compounding, targeting commercial scale-up from 2028.
