Sodiaal Union (Sodiaal) is France’s largest dairy cooperative, owned by its member dairy farmers. The group collects and processes raw milk across France and operates a broad network of manufacturing sites. It supplies consumer dairy products and business-to-business ingredients to retail, foodservice, and industrial customers in France, wider Europe, and international markets.
Its portfolio spans drinking milk; cheeses; butter and cream; yogurts and other fermented dairy; infant and clinical nutrition; and dairy ingredients such as milk and whey powders, caseins and caseinates, lactose, and specialty proteins. Notable consumer brands include Candia and Entremont, and the Yoplait brand through ownership and licensing arrangements in certain markets. Activities cover milk collection, processing, packaging, and R&D aimed at product performance, nutrition, and efficient use of resources.
