Sirris is Belgium’s collective center for the technology industry, operating as a neutral, non-profit research and innovation organization. In partnership with industry and stakeholders such as Agoria, it helps companies develop, test, and industrialize new products and processes across advanced manufacturing, materials, and digital technologies.
Sirris provides applied R&D, prototyping, testing, and technology transfer, with expertise spanning smart manufacturing (Industry 4.0), automation, and data-driven production, as well as materials and surface engineering. Its work supports sectors across the chemicals value chain by enabling improved materials selection and processing, sustainable and circular production practices, and efficient, high-quality manufacturing.
Active in the broader industrial ecosystem, Sirris co-organizes initiatives such as the “Factory of the Future” program in Belgium, which promotes innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in production. It collaborates with companies of all sizes, research institutions, and public programs to accelerate the deployment of practical, industry-ready solutions.
