SigmaKalon Group

SigmaKalon Group B.V. was a coatings manufacturer headquartered in Uithoorn, Netherlands. Formed in 1999 through the merger of Sigma Coatings and Kalon Group, it produced architectural, protective, marine and industrial paints and coatings, primarily for European markets, with operations including manufacturing facilities worldwide. The company was acquired by PPG Industries in January 2008 for approximately $3.2 billion and integrated into PPG's architectural coatings business.
