The facility was inaugurated in September 2023 with an initial annual capacity of approximately 35,000 tons. Commissioning occurred in late 2023, with full-scale production starting in early 2024. It targets local semiconductor manufacturers, including those clustered in the Tainan area such as TSMC and UMC, to supply high-quality chemicals meeting global standards while reducing import dependence.
The joint venture incorporates sustainability practices, including energy conservation and carbon reduction initiatives.
