Shell Canada Energy is the Canadian subsidiary of Shell plc, with operations spanning natural gas production, refining, petrochemicals, and energy marketing across the country. Shell Canada operates the Scotford complex near Edmonton, Alberta, which includes a refinery, chemicals facilities, and the Quest carbon capture and storage project. The company is the lead partner in LNG Canada, a liquefied natural gas export project in Kitimat, British Columbia, designed to link Western Canadian natural gas to global markets.
