Shandong Jincheng Petrochemical Group (山东金诚石化集团) is a private Chinese refining and chemicals group headquartered at Maqiao Town, Huantai County, Zibo, Shandong. Founded in 1992, it operates two crude distillation units with a combined primary processing capacity of 5.9 Mt/yr and holds a crude import allowance of 3.0 Mt/yr. Jincheng has moved from fuel refining into two downstream chains: high-end polyolefins (300 kt/yr narrow-distribution ultra-high-molecular-weight polypropylene on its own metallocene catalysts, a 700 kt/yr high-end polyethylene complex, and a 50 kt/yr 1-octene/1-hexene unit that is China's first high-carbon alpha-olefin plant) and propylene oxide/polyurethanes (300 kt/yr HPPO with 900 kt/yr associated hydrogen peroxide, using domestically licensed Tianchen technology). Planned units include POE and PAO. The group is the polyolefin chain leader designated by Zibo city, runs its own high-end synthetic materials research institute, and has been listed in the China Top 500 Enterprises for 18 consecutive years.
