SapuraOMV Upstream Sdn Bhd is a Malaysia-based exploration and production company focused on upstream oil and gas, with a strong emphasis on natural gas and condensate. Established in 2019 as a joint venture between Sapura Energy Berhad and OMV AG, the company operates from Kuala Lumpur and concentrates on offshore developments in Malaysian waters.
Its portfolio includes major production-sharing contracts offshore Sarawak, notably the SK408 and SK310 areas, which host gas fields such as Gorek, Larak, Bakong and B15.
