Repono AB is a Swedish company focused on developing and operating battery energy storage systems (BESS). Its flagship project, the Argeș battery energy storage system in Romania, has a capacity of 202 MW / 404 MWh and ranks among the largest standalone BESS assets in Southeastern Europe.
The project is set to enter commercial operation in the second quarter of 2027, pending project financing and construction milestones. Gunvor will market and manage 100% of the capacity through a cap-and-floor toll structure, while enspired will optimize the asset across power and ancillary service markets.
