Renasci is a Belgium-based recycling and waste-valorization company headquartered in Ostend. It operates an integrated facility that combines mechanical sorting with advanced (chemical) recycling processes, including pyrolysis, to treat mixed and hard-to-recycle waste streams. The plant recovers materials such as metals and converts residual plastics into liquid hydrocarbon feedstocks that can be used to produce new polymers.
By supplying circular feedstock to the chemicals and plastics value chain, Renasci supports higher recycling rates and diversion of waste from landfill and incineration, in line with EU circular economy objectives. Its approach focuses on delivering consistent, traceable outputs suitable for downstream upgrading into packaging and other industrial applications.
