The group helps close material cycles by providing industry and trade with secondary resources and offers consulting to governments on meeting recycling targets. Founded in 2002 in Germany, it serves over 3,000 customers worldwide from its base in Cologne and additional offices in Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, France, Spain, the USA, Canada, and elsewhere. Subsidiaries cover the full value chain of packaging disposal, recycling, and sustainable management.

Independent of major waste disposal firms, Reclay acts flexibly in the market. In November 2026, it formed a joint ownership and control arrangement with GreenDot for Valorie SAS, the French holding company owning the EPR operator Léko. The group positions itself as a pioneer in EPR implementation and innovative environmental solutions across Europe and North America.

Also known as Reclay Group and Reclay Systems GmbH.
