Changan Qiyuan (also known as Nevo internationally) is a new energy vehicle brand under China Changan Automobile Group, launched in August 2023 and headquartered in Chongqing, China. Positioned as an entry-level line for electrified vehicles, it targets mainstream family users with smart, digital, and low-carbon mobility solutions.
The brand offers a lineup including sedans such as A05, A06, A07, and SUVs like Q05, Q07, E07. Models feature battery electric, plug-in hybrid, and range-extender powertrains, built on platforms like EPA1 and SDA, emphasizing intelligent driving, spacious interiors, and efficient performance.
In 2026, Changan partnered with CATL to introduce the world's first mass-produced passenger vehicle with sodium-ion batteries in the Qiyuan A06 sedan, equipped with a 45 kWh Naxtra pack offering over 400 km CLTC range, superior cold-weather performance, and enhanced safety. The vehicle is slated for market launch by mid-2026, with sodium-ion tech expanding across Changan's portfolio including Qiyuan.
