Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) is the government entity responsible for developing, managing, and regulating Qatar’s free zones. It oversees strategically located zones adjacent to Hamad International Airport (Ras Bufontas) and Hamad Port (Umm Alhoul), providing infrastructure, utilities, and a streamlined regulatory framework for international and local companies to establish operations.

For the chemical and life sciences value chains, QFZ supports activities spanning advanced manufacturing, specialty materials, packaging, logistics, and biopharmaceutical processing. The zones offer serviced plots, ready-built facilities, access to multimodal transport, and connections to Qatar’s industrial ecosystem, enabling import of feedstocks and export-oriented production.
