PLP a.s. was the original developer, owner and constructor of the first-generation bioethanol plant in Trmice, Czech Republic. It built a greenfield starch-based facility using cereal feedstocks (wheat, triticale, corn) with capacity of ~80,000-100,000 tpa, plus DDGS production. Construction began ~2007; the company faced insolvency around 2010-2013 before the plant sale.
