Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) is the UK’s member-led trade association for the offshore energy sector. Formerly Oil & Gas UK, it rebranded in 2022 to reflect a remit spanning offshore oil and gas, offshore wind, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and low‑carbon hydrogen. OEUK represents operators and the supply chain, providing an industry forum for technical collaboration across exploration and production, operations, decommissioning, and emerging energy systems.
The organisation publishes market and workforce reports, develops industry guidelines and good‑practice standards, and convenes working groups on safety, environmental performance, emissions reduction and electrification. It engages with government and regulators on licensing, infrastructure, decommissioning, supply‑chain resilience, and the energy transition, with an emphasis on secure domestic energy supply and lower sector emissions. OEUK also hosts events and networks to share data and expertise across the UK Continental Shelf as it moves toward a lower‑carbon offshore energy mix.
