Novo Nordisk Foundation is an independent Danish philanthropic foundation that supports research, innovation, and education, with a primary focus on the life sciences and adjacent natural and technical sciences. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Novo Holdings A/S, the foundation is the controlling owner of Novo Nordisk and a major investor in life-science and biosolutions companies. The foundation is headquartered in Denmark.
