Norcem is a Norwegian cement producer and a subsidiary of Heidelberg Materials. It operates integrated cement plants in Brevik and Kjøpsvik, supported by a nationwide network of terminals, and supplies bulk and bagged cement to construction, infrastructure, and industrial customers in Norway and selected export markets.
The company manufactures clinker and a range of cements, and incorporates alternative fuels and mineral additions (such as fly ash and slag) to reduce clinker intensity and emissions. Norcem is active in decarbonization initiatives, including development of carbon capture and storage at its Brevik facility, alongside programs to improve energy efficiency and logistics performance.
