Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the company operates a commercial-scale facility in the Atlanta area and is developing a much larger plant in McDonough, Georgia, expected to significantly increase capacity. Its continuous 24/7 process applies heat in an oxygen-free environment to plastics such as HDPE, LDPE, and PP films, foams, and flexible packaging that mechanical recycling cannot process, yielding circular oil suitable for premium applications including food-safe and medical-grade products.

Founded in 2008 as Nexus Fuels LLC and rebranded in 2021, Nexus Circular is majority-owned by Cox Enterprises following a $150 million investment. It maintains long-term offtake agreements with petrochemical leaders including LyondellBasell, Braskem, Chevron Phillips Chemical, and Shell Polymers. The company is ISCC PLUS certified and focuses on diverting plastic waste from landfills while reducing reliance on virgin fossil resources.

As a commercial leader in advanced recycling, Nexus Circular complements mechanical methods and supports the circular plastics economy through scalable operations, high yields, and partnerships across the value chain.

Also known as Nexus Fuels, Nexus Circular LLC, and Nexus Circular McDonough LLC.
