OJSC Naftan (Naftan) is a major oil refinery and petrochemical complex located in Novopolotsk, Vitebsk Region, Belarus. As one of the country’s two primary refining centers, it plays a central role in Belarus’s fuels and chemical value chains.
The site processes crude oil into motor gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, LPG, bitumen, lubricants, and petrochemical feedstocks such as naphtha and aromatics. Through its integrated Polymir facilities, Naftan also produces polymers (including polyethylene), synthetic fibers, and related intermediates for plastics and chemical processing. Its products serve the domestic market and are exported to neighboring regions via established pipeline and rail logistics.
