The Malaysian Oil, Gas and Energy Services Council (MOGSC) is the largest industry association representing the oil, gas, and energy services sector in Malaysia. Established in 2003, it serves as an independent, national-level organization driven by service providers across the supply chain.
MOGSC promotes the capabilities, visibility, and interests of its members—over 600 corporate and associate companies representing approximately 60,000 workers. It engages with stakeholders, industry associations, government agencies, and serves as a key reference for policymakers and media.
The council focuses on critical areas including market liquidity, fair and sustainable contracting, local capabilities and global expansion, and participation in energy transition and ESG initiatives. It aligns with national strategies like the OGSE Industry Blueprint 2021-2030 to enhance competitiveness in the sector, which contributes 5-8% to Malaysia's GDP and supports over 123,000 jobs.
