MERO ČR, a.s. (MERO) is the Czech Republic’s state-owned operator of crude oil transmission and storage infrastructure. The company ensures the transport of crude oil to the country’s refineries and provides large-scale storage services that support both commercial needs and national emergency reserves.
MERO operates the Czech sections of the Družba pipeline and the IKL (Ingolstadt–Kralupy–Litvínov) pipeline, which connects to the Transalpine Pipeline (TAL) system, enabling seaborne crude deliveries from the Mediterranean via Trieste. It also manages the Central Oil Tank Farm at Nelahozeves, one of the country’s key crude storage sites. Through cross-border coordination and capacity management, MERO plays a central role in the security and flexibility of crude supplies to Czech refining and petrochemical operations.
