LanzaJet

About LanzaJet

LanzaJet is a U.S.-based sustainable fuels company that develops and commercializes Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) technology to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel from ethanol. Its process converts a wide range of ethanol sources—including those made from agricultural and forestry residues, municipal waste, and other waste-derived feedstocks—into drop-in jet fuel that meets aviation specifications.

The company works across the value chain by licensing technology, providing engineering support, and developing projects with airlines, energy companies, and industrial partners. By enabling SAF production from diverse, lower-carbon feedstocks, LanzaJet supports efforts to reduce lifecycle greenhouse-gas emissions from aviation while leveraging existing fuel infrastructure for distribution and use.
