Kellas Midstream is a UK-based independent energy infrastructure company focused on natural gas gathering, processing, and transportation in the UK North Sea. Backed by BlackRock and GIC, the company is the operator and co-owner of the Central Area Transmission System (CATS) pipeline and processing terminal at Teesside—one of the UK’s major gas hubs—where offshore gas is treated and delivered into the National Transmission System, with associated handling of natural gas liquids and condensate.
Beyond CATS, Kellas develops and operates offshore and onshore gathering networks that provide reliable, third-party access for upstream producers, including infrastructure in the Southern North Sea such as the Humber Gathering System. Its assets support UK energy security and supply gas to downstream power, industrial, and petrochemical customers. Kellas also explores opportunities to integrate low‑carbon solutions across its portfolio as the UK energy system transitions.
