中国石油化工股份有限公司荆门分公司 (Sinopec Jingmen Petrochemical) is a large integrated petrochemical enterprise and subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Group). Located in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, China, it was established in 1970 as a national wartime reserve refinery and has developed into a major refining and chemical complex with a crude oil processing capacity of 6.5 million tons per year.
The company produces fuels, lubricant base oils, petroleum waxes, specialty white oils, polypropylene, and other petrochemical products. Its finished oils primarily serve defense needs and markets in Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guizhou provinces. Specialty products such as white oils and waxes hold leading national market shares.
Jingmen Petrochemical is actively implementing an "oil to specialty" transformation strategy. It has developed more than 100 grades of specialty oils in 10 categories, including cosmetics-grade white oil, which achieved its first exports to Southeast Asia. Recent projects, such as the 600,000-ton-per-year naphthenic specialty oil high-pressure hydrotreating unit, have increased specialty oil capacity to 1.4 million tons per year, establishing a million-ton-scale base. Several products replace imports and target high-end applications in rubber, electronics, food, cosmetics, and new energy sectors.
Operated within the Jingmen Chemical Recycling Industrial Park, the company supports regional industrial clustering and focuses on high-value, green, and differentiated products to enhance competitiveness within the Sinopec Group and the broader Chinese petrochemical industry.
