Founded in 2010 as a joint venture between OCP Group, the world’s leading phosphate producer based in Morocco, and Worley (following its acquisition of Jacobs’ relevant division), JESA combines local Moroccan capabilities with international engineering standards. It operates primarily across Africa, with its headquarters in Casablanca and additional offices in Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Senegal, and the United States, while delivering projects globally.

Through its JESA Technologies division, the company offers specialized phosphate process technologies and licensing with over half a century of accumulated expertise. JESA emphasizes sustainability, safety, local content, and skills development via its JESA Institute.

With thousands of employees from diverse nationalities and hundreds of active projects, JESA positions itself as one of Africa’s largest engineering firms and a key player in the global phosphate and fertilizer value chain.
