Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía (ITE) is a private non-profit technological institute headquartered in Paterna, Valencia, Spain. Established over 30 years ago, it focuses on research, development, and innovation in energy technologies to support the transition to sustainable energy systems. ITE provides R&D project management, specialized testing laboratories, and training services across areas including renewable hydrogen, decarbonization, batteries, sustainable mobility, and smart energy networks.
The institute collaborates with industrial partners on initiatives such as green hydrogen production projects aimed at replacing natural gas in sectors including chemicals and ceramics.
