Italgas S.p.A. is an Italian energy infrastructure company focused on natural gas distribution and energy efficiency services. Headquartered in Milan, it operates primarily through subsidiaries including Italgas Reti and Geoside, an energy services company. The group manages extensive gas networks across Italy and has pursued growth via acquisitions and mergers, notably the 2025 incorporation of 2i Rete Gas. Italgas has also secured European Investment Bank financing for efficiency projects involving building renovations, industrial measures, photovoltaic installations, and public lighting modernization, targeting energy savings and renewable generation through 2029.
