ISOPA is the European trade association representing producers of diisocyanates (MDI and TDI) and polyols, the key building blocks for polyurethane materials. Its members include major chemical manufacturers active in Europe, supplying value chains in construction insulation, automotive, furniture and bedding, appliances, footwear, and in coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers.
The association focuses on product stewardship, health and safety, and regulatory affairs. It promotes the safe handling and transport of diisocyanates, supports EU REACH compliance through worker training initiatives, develops supply‑chain best practices, and provides data on the environmental performance of polyurethane systems. ISOPA is a sector group within Cefic and collaborates with ALIPA on aliphatic isocyanates. It is based in Brussels, Belgium.
