Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest), also known as Invest Kenya, is the Government of Kenya’s investment promotion and facilitation agency. Its mandate is to attract, retain, and expand domestic and foreign direct investment by providing market and policy information, guiding investors through regulatory requirements, and offering facilitation and aftercare services across the project lifecycle.
For industrial sectors—including chemicals, fertilizers, plastics, pharmaceuticals, and related manufacturing—KenInvest helps investors navigate permits and approvals, coordinates with relevant ministries and regulators, and connects projects to industrial parks and special economic zones. The agency supports access to applicable incentives, fosters local supplier linkages, and promotes value addition and export-oriented production aligned with Kenya’s industrialization goals.
