Zhejiang InResST Regenerated Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (InResST Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese company founded in 2021 and based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. It specializes in the recycling of discarded marine fishing nets and ghost nets into high-value regenerated materials, primarily nylon (PA) chips, fibers, yarns, and fabrics for the textile industry.
Employing physical (mechanical) recycling processes involving over 21 steps—including cleaning, granulation, homogenization, and spinning—the company transforms polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene (PE) from ocean waste into products like apparel (e.g., T-shirts, hoodies), suitcase components, and other consumer goods. InResST holds certifications such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard), OEKO-TEX, and OBP (Ocean Bound Plastic), emphasizing low-carbon production that reduces CO2 emissions by 91% per ton of recycled nylon compared to virgin materials.
To date, it has recycled over 58,000 tons of abandoned fishing gear, with annual capacity exceeding 8,000 tons and projected revenue surpassing RMB 100 million.
