INOVYN Produzione Italia S.p.A. is an Italian chemical manufacturer specializing in chlor-alkali products. It operates two key sites: the Rosignano plant in Tuscany, Italy's largest domestic chlor-alkali facility producing caustic soda and chlorine, employing over 160 staff; and the Tavazzano site in Lombardy, which manufactures sodium hypochlorite (using chlorine from Rosignano), hydrochloric acid, and intermediates for agrochemicals, with around 36 employees.
These products support industries including pharmaceuticals, energy, water treatment, food, defense, construction, detergents, and agriculture. Part of INEOS Inovyn, Europe's leading chlorovinyls producer, the company was the subject of a signed agreement in April 2026 for its sale to Esseco Industrial, pending regulatory approvals and expected to complete in 2026. Until then, INEOS Inovyn continues site management. INEOS Inovyn R&D in Rosignano remains with the parent company.
