INESC TEC, legally the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science, is a private non-profit research association headquartered in Porto, Portugal. Recognised as a Public Interest Institution and Associate Laboratory, it conducts multidisciplinary R&D and technology transfer in areas such as artificial intelligence, bioengineering, communications, power and energy systems, robotics, and computer engineering. The institute operates from multiple sites, primarily linked to the University of Porto, and employs more than 700 researchers. Its activities focus on scientific research, advanced training, and collaboration between academia, industry, and public administration.
