Hyoffwind Infrastructure N.V. is a Belgian company established in 2021 that is developing Belgium's first industrial-scale green hydrogen production facility in the Port of Zeebrugge.
The project centers on a 25 MW electrolyser that converts renewable electricity, mainly from offshore wind parks, into green hydrogen for applications in mobility, industry, port operations, and inland waterway transport.
Shareholders include Virya Energy and Messer. Construction is underway with electrolysers and compressors installed; first production is scheduled for 2026, targeting annual output of around 3,700 tonnes of hydrogen and associated CO2 reductions.
