Its activities include convening working groups, publishing guidance and evidence, and facilitating collaboration among industry, academia, and government. Hydrogen UK focuses on issues such as safety, infrastructure, market design, supply chains, skills, and investment confidence to support the scale-up of low-carbon hydrogen and related technologies in line with national decarbonisation goals.
An alkaline water electrolyser has been nominated for the Innovation Project Award; awards ceremony held at the sector's annual conference on 10 March 2026.
