HH2E AG is a Germany-based energy company focused on developing and operating green hydrogen and power-to-X projects. The company integrates renewable electricity with water electrolysis and buffering/storage technologies to produce green hydrogen, as well as associated energy services such as heat, steam, and grid support.
HH2E targets industrial and mobility applications, supplying hydrogen and renewable heat to sectors including chemicals, refining, glass, steel, and e-fuels production, and to district heating networks. It is building a portfolio of large-scale plants across Germany, with plans for multi-gigawatt electrolyser capacity toward 2030 to help replace fossil-based hydrogen and fuels.
By converting variable wind and solar power into storable, dispatchable energy carriers, HH2E aims to lower emissions in energy-intensive value chains and support Europe’s broader decarbonization and energy-security goals.
